Latest Celebrity Big Brother watched by 2.2m on Channel 5

Thursday night's Celebrity Big Brother grabbed 2.21m (9.1%) from 9pm on Channel 5, according to overnight data.

The latest instalment was a slight dip from 2.58m in the same timeslot last week, while Celebrity Big Brother's Bit on the Side followed with 782k (4.5%).

Police Interceptors and World's Greatest Heroes aired earlier with 806k (3.6%) and 782k (3.2%) respectively.

BBC One's MasterChef continued with 4.49m (18.4%) from 9pm. Earthflight averaged 3.91m (15.9%) in the 8pm hour.

For ITV1, Tonight had 2.35m (10.3%) from 7.30pm and Eternal Law was seen by 2.98m (12.3%) in the 9pm hour (+1: 218k/1.3%).

BBC Two began primetime with live snooker (1.05m/4.7%) before a lineup of Edward VII: Prince of Pleasure (1.63m/6.6%), Putin, Russia and the West (1.33m/5.5%) and Never Mind the Buzzcocks (1.15m/5.9%).

Channel 4's Location, Location, Location attracted 2.1m (8.6%) from 8pm (+1: 263k/1.1%), Restoration Man got 2.05m (8.4%) in the 9pm hour (+1: 253k/1.4%) and Gypsy Blood took 2.01m (13.1%) from 10pm (+1: 281k/3.3%).

Overall, BBC One finished with 21.2%, edging ITV1's 20.2% (+1: 0.6%). Channel 4 was third with 7.9% (+1: 0.9%), ahead of BBC Two's 5.5% and Channel 5's 5.1%.

Elsewhere, The Big Bang Theory amused 637k (2.7%) from 8pm on E4.
