'The Office' moves to Canada

The BBC has made a French-language version of Ricky Gervais comedy The Office for broadcast in Canada later this year.
La Job - filmed in Montréal - replicates scripts from the first two series of the original UK version, although the character 'David Brent' has been renamed 'David Gervais'.
The Canadian makeover follows the success of French adaptation Le Office, which airs on Canal+.
"The Office has been huge success with audiences across the world," said a spokesman for BBC Worldwide. "Recent adaptations have captivated audiences in the US and France, where Le Bureau became the first foreign language adaptation of the show. We're hoping that La Job will enthral French-speaking Canadian audiences just as much."
