The National Television Awards are one of the glitziest nights in the British TV calendar. Celebrating the most popular shows on the box and voted for entirely by the British public, they always draw the biggest names in TV.

This year's awards will feature a mammoth battle for 'TV Drama' between big beasts Doctor Who, Downton Abbey, Waterloo Road and Merlin, while Ant & Dec are gunning for their 11th consecutive 'Entertainment Presenter' gong.
Strictly and X Factor will square up as usual in the 'Talent Show' wars, while TOWIE and Keith Lemon's Celebrity Juice team will be hoping to make it a night to remember for ITV2.
The National Television Awards, which are hosted by Dermot O'Leary, air on Wednesday night (January 25) on ITV1.
