Louis Walsh wants Victoria Beckham as a guest on X Factor – but Simon Fuller is lining her up to front a reality fashion show.

Walsh and the X Factor team have been attempting to get the ex-Spice Girl on their show since it started and have been pushing hard ahead of this year's finals.

"We are doing everything we can to get her on. I consider her a good friend of mine and want her to be involved," Walsh told The People. "We want this show to be the biggest yet, which means bringing in big names like Victoria."

The group have reportedly considered having her on as a special guest stylist for the contenders. "Stars like Victoria Beckham will give the ratings that extra boost to help us top our record," Walsh added. "Me and Simon have always said that we want last year's winner Shayne Ward to be styled like David Beckham as well."

Meanwhile, music mogul Simon Fuller, who was behind the Spice Girls and Pop Idol, is hoping to convince Beckham to host her own show fashion-based reality show.

The boss of 19 Management, who work with Beckham and Fuller, confirmed: "It will be more serious than a reality show but very entertaining because Victoria is so funny."
