David Beckham boosts 'Jonathan Ross Show' to 4m

A further 402k (1.9%) chose to watch the ITV1 show on timeshift in what has been a controversial week for the chatshow host, who apparently offended Tom Hardy during taping this week.
Earlier on ITV1, Harry Hill's TV Burp tickled 5.42m, grabbing a 22.4% audience share (+1: 252k, 1%). Another edition of Take Me Out appealed to 4.97m (20.2%) and an extra 258k (1%) on +1.
On BBC One, The Magicians conjured 4.97m (20.5%), Casualty took 5.7m (22.9%) at 8.40pm and Mrs Brown's Boys entertained 6.32m (25.6%) in the 9.30pm slot.
BBC Two's Versailles: The Dream of a King scored 1.73m (7%), and a showing of Brighton Rock, the film adaptation of Graham Greene's classic novel, drummed up 1.21m (5.2%).
The Million Pound Drop Live thrilled 1.38m (5.8%) on Channel 4, with 170k (0.9%) opting to watch an hour later. The Full Monty was screened to an audience of 1m (7%) at 10.30pm (+1: 168k, 2.2%).
A double bill of NCIS on Channel 5 nabbed 1.27m (5.2%) and 1.55m (6.2%) from 7.30pm, and CSI: NY increased the audience to 1.82m (7.7%) at 9.30pm.
BBC One won an easy primetime victory on 23.1%, followed by ITV1 on 16.8%. BBC Two, Channel 5 and Channel 4 followed with 6.8%, 5.9% and 5.1% respectively.
