'Skins' rises to 370,000 viewers on E4

The latest episode of Skins improved week-on-week by picking up nearly 370k on E4 last night, according to overnight data.
The Mini-centric instalment drew 367k (2.1%) from 10pm with an additional 100k (1.1%) on timeshift.

On the terrestrials, the final episode of BBC One's The Diamond Queen (5.78m/23.2%) narrowly beat ITV1's Whitechapel (5.51m/22.1%) in the 9pm timeslot. However, Whitechapel did gain an extra 270k (1.5%) on +1.
Earlier in the night, Panorama had 4.02m (16%) on BBC One and Cornwall with Caroline Quentin took 3.85m (15.6%) on ITV1 (+1: 128k/0.5%).
On BBC Two, University Challenge (2.97m/12%) was followed by The Bleak Old Shop of Stuff (1.51m/6%) and The Tube (1.79m/7.2%).
Superscrimpers: Waste Not, Want Not managed 1.33m (5.3%) from 8pm (+1: ), with Coppers taking 1.74m (7%) afterwards in the 9pm hour (+1: 348k/2%). True Stories averaged 1.49m (9.1%) from 10pm (+1: 243k/2.9%).
Lastly, Channel 5 had Police Interceptors (1.18m/4.7%) and Royal Marines: Mission Afghanistan (1m/4%).
Overall, ITV1 powered to primetime victory with 24.2% (0.7%) ahead of BBC One's 22.8%. BBC Two finished with 7%, beating Channel 4's 5.8% (+1: 1.1%) and Channel 5's 3.4%.
