'Millionaire' champ broke from divorce

The man who won the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? jackpot will use the cash to recover from a divorce, his ex-wife said.
Ingram Wilcox, who scooped the top prize earlier this week, has been living in a one-bedroom flat since the pair split two years ago, according to Rebecca. The couple had been married for 25 years and are still friends.
"The money is much needed and well deserved," she told the Daily Mirror. "I'm very happy for him. I imagine Ingram will buy a house. I doubt if he will give me any money - but he will probably take me out to dinner. We are both pretty broke after the divorce."
Ingram, 62, was a runner-up in the Mastermind final in 1980 and has had a string of success in other less profitable general knowledge competitions.
"Quizzes have always been his passion and it's terrific he has finally won a big prize," Rebecca explained. "He is quiet and charming and quite a modest sort of man - but he is very clever. He has a massive general knowledge and is a walking encyclopedia."
The champion has lived on his own in a studio flat in Bath since the divorce and earns around £20,000 a year from a civil service job.
He is the fifth person to win the jackpot and his final question was "Which of the following boxers rang the J. Arthur Rank gong?" He immediately gave the correct answer of Bombardier Billy Wells.
