The Apprentice winner Michelle Dewberry is setting up her own consultancy firm after formally parting ways with Amstrad boss Sir Alan Sugar.
Despite tabloid reports of acrimony between the pair, both made statements praising the other.
"I am so grateful for the experience I have gathered from Sir Alan and others within his organisation," said 26-year-old Dewberry. "I am excited to take what I have learnt and help other companies by way of my new company, MDL."
Sugar, who chose Dewberry from over 15,000 applicants on the hit BBC2 show, said: "She leaves with my blessing, and there is no question that I would consider using her new company to work with her again on special projects that need evaluating."
