Girls Aloud turn down 'Most Haunted'

Girls Aloud were forced to turn down an appearance on Most Haunted - because Nadine Coyle refused to appear.

Producers were apparently prepared to offer the singers £50,000 each to make a special appearance on the LivingTV show, but Coyle decided that she preferred to spend her free time with boyfriend Jesse Metcalfe.

Although LivingTV were prepared to allow the other four girls to sign up, their agents refused to allow the plans to go ahead without Nadine.

A source told The People: "Everyone on the show is really disappointed."
