Sherlock, Karl Pilkington's An Idiot Abroad and Channel 4 reality series Made In Chelsea are among the nominations at this year's Arqiva BAFTA Television Awards.
US comedy Modern Family, ITV1's Appropriate Adult and Alan Carr's Chatty Man will also be hoping for a gong at the ceremony.

The Arqiva BAFTA Television Awards 2012 take place at the Royal Festival Hall at London's South Bank centre on Sunday, May 27. The BAFTA Television Craft Awards will take place two weeks earlier on Sunday, May 13.
