The first, Elizabeth: Queen, Wife, Mother, is presented by Alan Titchmarsh and offers a "truly intimate portrait", including contributions from the Duke of Cambridge, Duke of York and Princess Royal.
Executive producer Deborah Turness said: "Viewers will be surprised at the openness and intimacy in our film.
"Beyond the ceremony and formality, the Royal Family is like any other, and we were privileged to be granted this rare opportunity to see inside it."
The second ITV1 documentary is Shiver Productions' two-part The Queen & I, which features home movies from those who have met the Queen combined with key moments from her reign.
Both documentaries will air in early June.
Additionally, ITV1 broadcasts Spun Gold TV's All The Queen's Horses: A Diamond Jubilee Special, featuring musicians, dancers and equestrian displays filmed at Windsor Castle as the end of the Diamond Jubilee Pageant between May 10 and 13.
Susan Boyle, Rolf Harris and Il Divo are among the stars confirmed for the event, while narrators will include Helen Mirren, Sanjeev Bhaskar, Omid Djalili and Martin Clunes.
