Hammond crash could be aired on BBC

The crash that left Richard Hammond inches from death could be aired on television.
The BBC is reportedly planning a Top Gear special documenting the incident. The only current limiting factor is the consent of Hammond himself.
The crash, which took place on September 20, left Hammond in intensive care. A source said: "The aim is not to be gruesome, but to show all the preparations."
So as not to cause distress, the BBC does not intend to show the aftermath of the 300 mph collision.
