Top WAGs to compete in reality show

A number of England's 'wives and girlfriends' are set to compete in a fashion-based ITV reality television show.
The as-yet-unnamed programme, provisionally scheduled for ITV2, will see two teams of competitors challenged to run fashion stores in London's Mayfair.
Producers have targeted Frank Lampard and Joe Cole's fiancees Elen Rives and Carly Zucker, according to the Daily Mail, along with Alex Curran, girlfriend of Steven Gerrard.
Proposals for the show were revealed by a source at the producer behind X Factor, Talkback Thames. He said: "It is going to be dynamite, there is no way that the girls are all going to remain friends.
"There is likely to be a lot of falling out, both between the two teams and within them too. Some of the scenes will not be very pretty."
He added that there was already competition over who will make it to screens, explaining: "Obviously the more famous of the WAGs are pretty much guaranteed places if they want them but the girlfriends of the more junior England players and Premiership stars are at war with one another over who is going to go on the show."
Filming is said to be due to begin before Christmas although the shops are not likely to open until February next year. They will then be trading five days each week until a grand final in April.
