'Mad Men' latest episode draws 40,000 viewers on Sky Atlantic

Last night's dramatic Mad Men episode entertained nearly 40,000 viewers on Sky Atlantic, according to overnight data.

The episode 'The Other Woman' averaged 39k (0.2%) in the 9pm hour, following Friday Night Lights which took 28k (0.1%).

Elsewhere, Alcatraz resumed with 459k (2%) on Watch.

On the terrestrials, Silk dropped from 5.3m last week to 4.84m (21.6%) on BBC One. However, it was still dominant in the 9pm hour and comfortably beat ITV1's Prince Charles: The Royal Restoration which had 2.06m (9.1%) and 135k (0.8%) on timeshift.

Earlier on ITV1, Countrywise Jubilee managed 1.83m (9%) in the 8pm hour.

BBC Two showed Springwatch (2.23m/11%) and Great Ormond Street (2.07m/9.2%).

Channel 4's Embarrassing Bodies drew 1.58m (7.8%) with an additional 388k (1.7%) on timeshift. Jimmy and the Giant Supermarket followed with 1.44m (6.4%) from 9pm (+1: 243k/1.4%).

The latest CSI grabbed 1.89m (8.4%) on Channel 5 (+1: 144k/0.8%) with a repeat of CSI: NY taking 1.05m (6%) afterwards. War Hero in My Family took 743k (3.7%) earlier in the 8pm hour.

Overall, BBC One eased to primetime victory with 23.6% ahead of ITV1's 12.4% (+1: 0.5%). BBC Two came third with 8.7% followed by Channel 4 with 5.4% (+1: 1.2%) and Channel 5 with 5% (+1: 0.2%).
