Lennard axed from 'Supermodel' spin-off

Jasmine Lennard has been axed from Five's Make Me A Supermodel after insulting judge Rachel Hunter while on air.

The society girl, who fronted spin-off Make Me A Supermodel Extra on sister channel Five Life, had previously been warned by producers after describing Rachel as "fat, spotty and finished" when she was a contestant in the first series.

However, despite a clause in her contract banning her from making derogatory comments on screen, Lennard referred to her rival as "Rachel Munter" when discussing catwalk stars. Producers claim that she later refused to apologise for her actions.

The feud between the pair began last year after Jasmine was kicked off the TV model show in the early stages by Rachel.

Producers Tiger Aspect confirmed: "Make Me A Supermodel has fired Jasmine Lennard due to the comments she made about our main panel judge and established face of the show Rachel Hunter on Make Me A Supermodel Extra show.

"It was very clear in her contract that no derogatory comments were to be made about any of the panel who in the first series eliminated her in the early stages. As she broke this we sadly had no choice but to sack her."
