The Aquatics Centre is unrivalled when it comes to atmosphere at any Games and always makes for must-watch telly. The swimming reaches the halfway stages today with plenty of medals up for grabs, include a couple that should have US pool monster Michael Phelps at his powerful best. The 200m Butterfly final should be his best bet for yet another gold. Check out BBC One from 7pm for all the best poolside action.

North Greenwich Arena will be bouncing from 4.30pm today when Beth Tweddle and Hannah Whelan will be hoping to pull off a shock and lead the Team GB women's team to a gymnastics medal. Expect the jaw-droppingly good China and USA to battle for the gold. All the action is on BBC One from 4pm.
Zara Phillips makes it a royal occassion

Prince Phillip and Princess Anne were among the crowd who greeted Zara Phillips and her horse High Kingdom on Day 1 of her equestrian challenge. She has completed her dressage and cross-country segments and concludes today with show-jumping. Princess Zara will be the standout name on the lineup, but there is plenty of other horsey action to get stuck into all day on BBC Olympics Three. There is a medal chance for the Three-Day Event team (who nabbed a bronze in Beijing) at 11.30am on BBC One as well.
Best of the Rest
The Canoe Slalom represents one of the best chances that Team GB has of a medal today. David Florence has plenty of pedigree and will be battling Frenchman Tony Estanguet at 3pm on BBC Olympics 1.
The women's football reaches the end of the group stage with Team GB's women facing their toughest game yet against Brazil at 7.45pm on BBC Three.
Team GB continue their Men's handball quest with games against Great Britain (2.30pm) and Croatia (4.15pm) on BBC Olympics 15.
Keep your eyes glued to BBC Olympics 13 if you fancy some more female and male Beach Volleyball frolics.
If you fancy something really obscure, BBC Olympics 21 will have plenty of mind-blowing weightlifting action from 10am. Snatches, clean and jerks and more muscle than Jodie Marsh can even dream about.
