Chris O'Dowd's upcoming comedy series Moone Boy has received its first trailer from Sky1.
The IT Crowd actor has written the show, which is adapted from his previous Little Crackers episode.
It is a semi-autobiographical project about O'Dowd's time as a child in Ireland in the 1980s. It follows Martin Moone, an 11-year-old child and his imaginary friend Sean Murphy (O'Dowd).
O'Dowd had previously said of the project: "It's a really funny show which has loads of animation and a number of laughs that I hope people will love.
"It was essential to film in Ireland and what was great about Sky was they wanted us to film here and they were really supportive. That wouldn't have happened at any other channel."
Moone Boy was renewed for a second series by Sky1 earlier this year, before the first has even been aired on the channel. The first series will launch in September 2012.
O'Dowd recently signed up for a new comedy series from HBO and BBC Two.
