'Red Dwarf X' new clip: Watch Kryten and Cat teaser video

Red Dwarf will return for its first full series since 1999 later this year on Dave.

Chris Barrie, Craig Charles, Danny John-Jules and Robert Llewellyn will return for more comic space adventures and a new teaser clip featuring Cat and Kryten has been released to promote the show.

Speaking about the new run to Broadcast, star Charles said: "We've stopped being an action adventure series and gone back to being more of a sitcom.

"We're now back to being four clowns in a room, each trying to be funnier than the next man.

"We're still 3 million years into deep space, looking for a way home and really hot curry. But now it's a bit more like Grumpy Old Men."

Red Dwarf X will air in October on Dave.
