Lightfields is a supernatural drama based on the Suffolk coast, which follows three different periods (1944, 1975, 2012) at Lightfields farmhouse. The three periods are linked by the ghost of a teenage girl, who died in mysterious and tragic circumstances.
Antonia Clarke plays Lucy, a teenager who lives with brother Pip (Larry Mills) and her parents (Halfpenny, Hazeldine). Her head is turned by teenager Eve (Richards) and in particular her boyfriend (Jackson), which upsets her family and long-time admirer Tom (Miller).
Vivien (Cohu) heads to the farmhouse in 1975 with her daughter (Crome), hoping to deal with a childhood trauma that she has blocked from her mind.
Meanwhile, in 2012, Barry and Lorna (Webb and Thompson) and their 8-year-old grandson are trying to turn the farmhouse into a B&B. Problems occur for the couple though when Pip from 1944 arrives at the farmhouse and strikes up a relationship with their grandson Luke, and the boy's estranged father (Marshall) also arrives on the scene at the same time.
