Four famous bachelors will take to the love lift in a bid to win a date on the Paddy McGuinness-fronted dating show this Christmas, according to The Sun.
"The special should make for fantastic viewing. These celebs are putting themselves out there," an insider said. "It could lead to a match made in heaven – but it could also end in disaster. Either way, viewers will be gripped."
Take Me Out debuted on ITV1 in January 2010, and is based on a popular international format originally developed by Fremantle Media under the name Taken Out for Australia's Channel Ten.
The regular format features 30 single girls who judge prospective dates by either keeping on or turning off their lights.
It was recently confirmed that the show has been recommissioned for two further series, along with its ITV2 spinoff show Take Me Out: The Gossip.
