But who has been your favourite baker so far and who do you think is going to win the crown of Britain's best amateur baker? Seven contestants remain in with a shout of claiming the trophy.

Jazzy jumper specialist James Morton and floppy-haired finger-chopping John Whaite have Mel & Sue swooning and are definite contenders to go all the way if they can tame their more maverick streaks with their sweet treats.
Cathryn Dresser and Sarah-Jane Willis are battling it out for the prize of most neurotic contestant, spending most of their time frowning at the oven or in tears in the rain, fretting that their sponge isn't quite bouncy enough or that there may be a leaked bottom in their latest gastronomic creation.
However, both have shown flashes of brilliance that suggest they could still go far if they can conquer their nerves.
Danny Bryden is probably the closest rival to Brendan at the moment, proving to be Mrs Consistent throughout nearly all the challenges, while it's impossible not to love the ever-stressed Ryan Chong, who has veered sharply between sheer magnificence and gooey disaster at regular intervals.
And if we don't even get to try Ryan's key lime pie, our stomachs may never be satisfied.
