The BBC has pulled the final episode of its police drama Good Cop following the murders of PCs Fiona Bone and Nicola Hughes.

However, the corporation has chosen to reschedule the episode in the wake of the Greater Manchester policewomen's deaths in a gun and grenade attack during a routine burglary call on Tuesday (September 18).

A statement read: "In light of news events, BBC1 has postponed the final episode of Good Cop due to transmit at 9pm tonight."

Repeat editions of Outnumbered and Have I Got News For You will air in its place.

It was revealed today that a man has been arrested in relation to a Facebook page celebrating Dale Cregan, the man suspected of the killing.
