However, the corporation has chosen to reschedule the episode in the wake of the Greater Manchester policewomen's deaths in a gun and grenade attack during a routine burglary call on Tuesday (September 18).
A statement read: "In light of news events, BBC1 has postponed the final episode of Good Cop due to transmit at 9pm tonight."
Repeat editions of Outnumbered and Have I Got News For You will air in its place.
It was revealed today that a man has been arrested in relation to a Facebook page celebrating Dale Cregan, the man suspected of the killing.
