Elsley's nine-part drama is titled Dates and will focus on the complexities of modern relationships, with each episode focusing on a different date.
Morgan's new project is a four-part thriller - Home Before Dark follows the hunt for a killer across London, Italy and America and explores the corrupting power of the internet.
The broadcaster has also ordered a new historical drama with links to Peter Flannery's 2008 mini-series The Devil's Whore, which starred John Simm and Michael Fassbender.
New World will comprise four episodes and is again written by Peter Flannery alongside Martine Brant.
A second series of Abi Morgan's The Hour will air on BBC Two in the near future, while Elsley's Skins is set to conclude in early 2013 with a final seventh series.

Since writing The Devil's Whore in 2008, Peter Flannery has been working on BBC detective drama Inspector George Gently.
