The contract will see Clarkson and his co-stars Richard Hammond and James May return for at least three more series of the BBC show.
Clarkson is said to have sold his entire 30% share in the Bedder 6 firm, which owns the sales rights to Top Gear.
BBC Worldwide had already owned 50% of Bedder 6, while the remaining 20% is now owned by Top Gear producer Andy Wilman.
Clarkson is expected to earn around £350,000 per year for the show, while also still profiting from other commercial projects including DVDs and live shows.
He said: "I've got the best job in the world. Why would I leave?"
Last year, Clarkson stated that he would quit the show if it moved from London to Manchester.
He recently branded Britain "a nation of 62 million complete and utter b**tards".
