BBC One has announced the biggest-ever nation-wide search for quiz show talent in the UK.
The National Lottery People's Quiz launches in January and will be presented by Jamie Theakston, William G Stewart, Kate Garraway and Myleene Klass, who will also be the hosting open auditions.
Theakston said: "It's certainly one of the most exciting shows I've ever worked on. For the first time the whole nation can compete against each other to find out who is the best quizzer in the country."
Contestants must answer ten general knowledge questions correctly in a row to get through to the next round. By passing through the next three rounds successfully, they stand a chance of winning.
Open auditions begin on Sunday, January 7 at Birmingham NEC, and on consecutive Sundays at the Cardiff Millennium Centre, the Glasgow SECC, Manchester G-Mex, ending at the Business Design Centre in Islington, London on Sunday, February 3.
In a curious move, every question for the initial heats will be published in advance of the auditions.
Questions are available now at bbc.co.uk/peoplesquiz for potential contestants to start practicing their general knowledge.
