The actress - Coronation Street's Delilah Dingle - was first accused of over-eating on the show by judge Billy Samneth. She responded that she was only a size 10.
However, Tamaddon later found postings on the programme's website agreeing with Samneth. She told Closer magazine: “People were saying, ‘No way she’s a size 10, she’s more like a size 14 — she’s so much bigger than all the other girls on Soapstar Superstar’."
She continued: “After the show ended my boyfriend and I were looking on the Soapstar website. I just hated all the taunts. I did have a cry.”
The actress said judge Tamaddon had later apologised for his comments. “But it had gone too far by then," she added. "I had already announced I was a size 10 as a retort."
