ITV1's Kingdom, which stars Stephen Fry as solicitor Peter Kingdom, has been sold to 14 countries, Broadcast has reported.

Hallmark has picked up the 12 x 60-minute series for nine territories with Seven Network in Australia, New Zealand's TVNZ, Norway's NRK, Iceland's RUV and Finland's YLE making up the remainder.

Described by creator and executive producer Simon Wheeler as "witty, charming and soulful," the drama is a key part of ITV1's lineup.
