The Stacey Slater actress appears alongside Hannah Tointon of The Inbetweeners, Nina Toussaint-White and Phoebe Fox in the ITV2 show about "four normal girls who just happen to be witches".
In a Digital Spy interview with the girls, Turner explained: "It was so different to anything that I'd ever done. It was just fun.
"It was so nice to do something that wasn't really emotionally heavy or challenging. It does make a difference when you finish work and you can go home not having carried a whole day's worth of crying on your shoulders, so yeah it was brilliant."
She continued: "I would love to do it again [for another series], just for selfish reasons."
Tointon, meanwhile, said the only thing that disappointed her about Switch was not being able to dress up in a traditional witch costume.
"I thought it was a great idea for a title sequence," she stated. "I thought we'd all dress up as witches and video ourselves dressing up, and I thought that would be really funny because it's ironic. It didn't do well."
The cast also agreed that they hope Switch will "encourage people to make more shows that have female leads".
Switch begins tonight (October 15) at 10pm on ITV2.
