The team behind Life on Mars, Ashley Pharoah and Matthew Graham, are developing two new dramas for the BBC and ITV1.
Under the newly formed Monastic Productions, the pair have teamed up with Mammoth Screen to develop a drama for BBC One about the world of archaeology, called Bonekickers.
Michele Buck, ITV Productions drama controller, is also involved in the project.
Pharoah and Graham are also developing a legal drama called Eternal Law for ITV1, though this has not been commissioned.
The team are currently working on Ashes to Ashes with producers Kudos. The show is a spin-off from Life on Mars featuring Philip Glenister's DCI Hunt character.
