MTV to help footballer search for a WAG
Published Sunday, Mar 4 2007, 10:30 GMT | By Daniel Kilkelly
A new MTV reality series will see a mystery footballer searching for a wife.
Twenty young hopefuls will take daily lessons from three real-life WAGs before dating the international striker. After the footballer has spent time with all of the girls, he will pick a winner to propose to.
It is believed that Celebrity Big Brother's Danielle Lloyd is being lined up as one of the show's mentors.
A spokesperson for production company North One TV told the Sunday Mirror: "The footballer is very famous and is a real catch. He is dying to meet a beautiful, sexy woman to be his perfect wife. He won't be revealed until the day before filming starts.
"He is looking for the next Victoria Beckham or Coleen McLoughlin. After just eight weeks he will propose to one lucky girl."
I Want To Be A WAG will air in August.
