'Top Gear' will be back, insists BBC

The declaration comes after the show's host, Jeremy Clarkson, wrote that the show would not be continuing next year in a newspaper column.
A BBC spokesman at said, "Top Gear will be back. A summer special is planned."
He added: "We're expecting all three boys to present the programmes."
The last episode of the show was watched by an estimated 8 million people - the largest audience for a BBC Two show in 10 years.
