'Emmerdale' star nervous over 'Superchef'

Emmerdale star Mark Charnock has revealed that he is nervous about starring on Soapstar Superchef.

The actor, who plays Marlon Dingle on the soap, admitted that he isn't sure about how his skills in the kitchen will compare to those of his rival contestants. Superchef pits stars of Emmerdale, Coronation Street, Hollyoaks and Neighbours against each other as they receive training from professionals.

"I'm not really a good cook. I'm not incompetent but I'm not confident about doing well preparing two meals in an hour on a live show in front of millions of viewers. I just hope that I can learn from it as we'll be getting tips from professional chefs," Mark told The Sun.

"If you hear any fire engines near the studios in Manchester it could be something to do with me!"
