Street-Porter vows to make celebs work
Published Wednesday, Apr 4 2007, 14:13 BST | By Nick Levine
Janet Street-Porter has promised to make her celebrity employees work hard on new reality TV show Deadline.
Street-Porter, the former chief editor of the Independent on Sunday, will lead a team of ten celebrities including Abi Titmuss, Dom Joly and Ingrid Tarrant on the ITV2 show.
The contestants will have to to create a weekly mini-magazine which will be included inside gossip rag Closer.
She told the rookie reporters: "It's fit in or f**k off with me. I am a really hard task master - I really know what I want. I am a team leader rather than a team player. Some people say that I am a bit frightening."
