Tarrant considers 'Deadline' interview

Ingrid Tarrant is considering whether to give an exclusive interview to Janet Street-Porter's gossip magazine on Deadline.

Ingrid split from her husband Chris in September after reports of his infidelity hit the headlines. She is now competing on the reality TV show, which features ten celebrities working to create a weekly mini-magazine which will be included inside gossip rag Closer.

Tarrant said: "Nobody's going to get the story because that's terribly, terribly private...(but) there is a story about the effect (the divorce) is having on the children.

"This is between me and Chris, that's it. I've dealt with it. It's over and the 'I prefer other women to you thing', that's dealt with. But it's the ongoing thing with the children - it's the effect it's had on them.

"Behind every story there is the real story. We haven't got divorced, point one, and everybody thinks we have this settlement and I haven't said that he is hiding £15 million. If he is, I'd like to know about it."
