The 13-part Seann Walsh World is set to debut in the spring and will star the 28-year-old comic that executives have labelled the "face of Comedy Central".
The series will be produced by Open Mike Productions (Live at The Apollo, Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow) and will combine stand-up and viral videos.
Walsh is also set to play one of the lead characters in another new commission for the channel, sitcom Big Bad World, in which he will star alongside Blake Harrison, Caroline Quentin and James Fleet.
The comic has previously made TV appearances on Grouchy Young Men, Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow, Live at the Apollo, Stand-up for the Week and 8 Out of 10 Cats.
Comedy Central Managing Director Jill Offman UK said of the commission: "Seann Walsh is perfect as the face of Comedy Central. We obviously can't get enough of him and we're not the only ones."
