Five retains rights to 'House'
Five has kept hold of the rights to medical drama House, despite strong competition from ITV and Sky.

According to Broadcast, Five was forced to pay as much as £500,000 an episode for the upcoming fourth season, valuing the show at around £10 million a year. It regularly draws audiences of more than 2.5 million viewers as part of a "Genius Thursday" programming block that also includes legal drama Shark.

Separately, Hallmark has retained the multichannel rights to the fourth season.
