ITV goes for cycling cop comedy

ITV has commissioned Guy Jenkin, the man behind Drop the Dead Donkey, to write a comedy about cycling policemen.
Bike Squad follows a group of biking coppers, and will air as a 90-minute pilot early next year, with a possible series to follow.
The Full Monty and Bonkers actor Mark Addy is rumoured to play the lead in comedy, which is being produced Tiger Aspect.
