Janet boots Blair off 'Deadline'

Janet Street-Porter has sacked former Neighbours star Blair McDonough from ITV2's Deadline because he couldn't "hack it".

The 25-year-old actor is the third celebrity to leave the reality TV show, in which ten celebrities are challenged to compile a weekly gossip magazine.

McDonough had consistently failed to take photographs that were good enough to feature in the 12-page magazine, which comes free with issues of gossip rag Closer.

Street-Porter told him: "Blair, I'm sorry I've got to say this, but you can't hack it so clear your desk. You are out of here. Say your goodbyes to everyone and then you're out of here."
