Janet Street-Porter fires Abi Titmuss
Published Wednesday, Apr 18 2007, 16:39 BST | By Neil Wilkes
Abi Titmuss was left in tears after getting the sack from Janet Street-Porter on ITV2's Deadline.
The lads' mags favourite was facing the axe from the celebrity magazine with Ingrid Tarrant and Imogen Lloyd Webber.
Copy editor Joe Mott had pointed out that Abi had not written a single word for the third issue, while photographer Darryn Lyons had constantly raised concerns over her camera skills.
On hearing the news, Abi, who was apparently "desperate" to stay, promptly burst into tears at the conference table.
The scenes will air on Deadline, Thursday night at 10pm on ITV2.
