Peter Kay has teamed up with The Royle Family writer Craig Cash for a new comedy series.
The duo are in talks with broadcasters about the show, which sees comedian Kay playing a binman. Channel 4, which aired Peter's past shows Phoenix Nights and Max and Paddy, is currently the most likely option.
An insider told The Sun: "They were originally thinking of making a film, but are now doing it for TV. It's really funny."
