Only five complaints were originally made about the annual comedy panel show, which aired at Christmas.
However, after the Daily Mail wrote several articles attacking the show and the comics involved, the number of complaints increased to 180.
The Daily Mail chose to republish all the show's alleged "vile sexual slurs" in an apparent attempt to encourage its readers to voice their displeasure. The paper also listed the names and salaries of Channel 4 execs who did not respond to the complaints.
Other guests on the quiz show's panel included TV presenter Jonathan Ross, IT Crowd star Richard Ayoade, comedian Russell Howard and sports presenter Gabby Logan.
Channel 4 stood by the show, describing it as a "well-established comedic and satirical review", and pointed out that the programme aired after the watershed and with appropriate warnings.
