Channel 4 axes 'Popworld'
Published Friday, Apr 27 2007, 11:44 BST | By James Welsh

T4's flagship music programme has been on the air for over six years and was originally hosted by Simon Amstell, who now hosts Never Mind The Buzzcocks, and Miquita Oliver.
Popworld's current run will end in July, and it is understood that Channel 4 hopes to use the brand elsewhere. However, a Popworld-branded magazine was axed earlier this month having only published a single issue.
