'Grease' judges ignored contestants
Published Saturday, Apr 28 2007, 10:46 BST | By Daniel Kilkelly

Despite footage on the ITV1 show which implied that the sixteen finalists were offered tips and advice from David Gest, Sinitta, Brian Friedman and David Ian, the four judges have been accused of spending no time with the wannabes.
"We just see each other and the researchers," Sandy hopeful Kate Somerset-How told The Mirror. "I wish we had seen more of the judges."
Wayne Smith, who hopes to win the role of Danny, admitted that he was unhappy about comments that the judges have made about contestants in the press.
"We spent 12 minutes each in front of the judges so it's hard when they're negative," he explained.
An ITV spokesperson insisted: "The judges are there to judge not mentor."
