Richard and Joanna voted off 'Grease'

Richard Morgan and Joanna Power became the second couple to be eliminated from Grease Is The Word last night.

The pair found themselves in the bottom two alongside Michael Quinn and his partner Vicky Hoyles, despite being picked by judge Brian Friedman as his favourites for the improvement they showed with their performance of Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me.

After both couples had delivered a special rendition of classic Grease song You're The One That I Want, David Gest announced that the judges had decided to save Michael and Vicky, which meant that it was time for Richard and Joanna to leave the show.

Earlier, Sinitta had told the duo that she thought they would be safe, explaining: "You look beautiful tonight and I can see all your passion."

Grease Is The Word continues next Saturday at 7.45pm on ITV1.
