'Celebrity Juice' back on ITV2 with 1.6 million

Over 1.6 millon viewers tuned in to see comedy panel show Celebrity Juice return for a new series on Thursday night (February 28), according to the latest audience data.

Celebrity Juice, hosted by Keith Lemon and featuring new team captain Kelly Brook joining the returning Holly Willoughby, was seen by 1.42m (8%) on ITV2 from 10pm. An additional 209,000 (2.1%) tuned in on +1.

Earlier in the evening, Nursing the Nation was enjoyed by 2.93m (13.1%) on ITV from 8.30pm.

ITV's The Wedding Shop delighted 2.58m (11.8%) in the 9pm hour and 142k (0.8%) on +1, but it was beaten by BBC One's Child of Our Time, which had 3.32m (15.2%). Question Time quizzed 2.8m (23%) on BBC One from 10.45pm.

The new series of Great British Menu continued to perform for BBC Two, serving up 1.97m (8.9%) from 7.30pm and 183k (0.8%) on BBC HD. Afterwards, The Planners was seen by 1.69m (7.5%) on BBC Two from 8pm and The Sea King: Britain's Flying Past captivated 1.91m (8.7%) in the 9pm slot. Charlie Brooker's Weekly Wipe amused 1.06m (5.6%) from 10pm and 115k (0.6%) in HD.

Britain's Secret Shoppers on Channel 4 appealed to 1.22m (5.4%) from 8pm and 137k (0.6%) on +1. Hugh's Big Fish Fight cooked up 1.03m (4.7%) from 9pm and 131k (0.8%) on timeshift. Bank of Dave did a deal with 930k (5.5%) in the 10pm slot, with an additional 121k (1.3%) tuning in an hour later.

Over at Channel 5, Horsemeat and Other Food Shockers was watched by 540k (2.5%) from 7pm, before Murder Files grabbed 1.02m (4.6%) and 113k (0.5%) on +1. Jack Taylor: The Pikeman Murders enthralled 1.24m (6.1%) between 8pm and 11pm.

BBC Four's screening of The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas was enjoyed by 757k (3.6%) from 9pm.

Overall, BBC One was victorious in primetime, with a 19.9% share over ITV's 16.1%. BBC Two scooped third place, with 7.2%, ahead of Channel 4 and Channel 5, both with 4.7%.
