Marcus Bentley, voiceover man on Channel 4's Big Brother, is to host a new gameshow for Sky One.

Dirty Money is billed as a "fast-paced, hard-nosed quiz show", where contestants win money by stealing it away from their opponents.

The programme is being made by 12 Yard Productions, set up by former Weakest Link producer David Young, who came up with the concept for Dirty Money.

Andrew Lowrey, Sky One channel editor, said: "Dirty Money is a commission for the daytime schedule on Sky One and illustrates the channel’s commitment to continue to innovate. Having devised and produced a wide range of successful entertainment formats, we’re delighted to bring the pedigree of 12 Yard productions to Sky One."

David Young said: "We’re delighted to have received our first series commission. With an ultimate aim of producing light entertainment series for all the main broadcasters across their schedules, Dirty Money is an example of the type of exciting new programming we are currently developing."
