The night began with Simon Cowell marrying his perfect partner after rejecting declarations of love from David Walliams, Olly Murs and others.Then we saw Jessie J undertaking one of the most extraordinary challenges in Comic Relief history - having her head shaved for charity.
The night also saw the return of classic comedy characters David Brent and the Vicar of Dibley cast, and Will Ferrell starred in a special Comic Relief sketch as Anchorman's Ron Burgundy.
On top of that, Miranda Hart dropped in for a special hybrid episode of Call the Midwife and One Born Every Minute, and Peter Kay raised a staggering £146.05 with his own unique spin on the James track 'Sit Down'.
