Janine Butcher is to become hooked on cocaine in a new EastEnders storyline, according to an article in The Sun today.
Janine, played by 20-year-old Charlie Brooks, will resort to stealing cash to fund her addiction, and then try to tempt Jamie away from girlfriend Sonia.
“She starts dabbling with drugs and stealing money from Terry Raymond," an insider told the newspaper. “She then tries to get her claws into Jamie when he cries on her shoulder after a row with Sonia. They end up in bed but Jamie feels so guilty he pops the question to Sonia right away. She is delighted but it’s only a matter of time before she finds out the truth.???
The storyline will air in a few months.
