Mel Giedroyc to host Channel 4's new 'Draw Something' game show

By
Mel Giedroyc is to host Channel 4's new daytime series Draw It!.

Developed with the makers of the mobile app Draw Something, the show will see two teams - made up of one contestant and one celebrity - go head to head as they battle it out in three rounds of drawing challenges in an attempt to win £5,000.

The contestant with the least amount of points after three rounds will be eliminated.

To win the cash, the remaining contestant and their celebrity partner will play together in the final round, which will test their sketching skills against a 90-second clock.

If the celebrity identifies five drawings correctly, we have a winner but if they fail, the cash is locked and rolls over to the next show.

"Everyone loves a bit of doodling," said Giedroyc. "I can't wait to doodle with the contestants and celebrities."

Draw It! will debut on Channel 4 early this summer.
