'Britain's Got Talent' tops Saturday night ratings

Britain's Got Talent topped the ratings on Saturday with 9.31m (43.9%), overnight data suggests.

The ITV show, which aired at 7pm, was down 350k on last week. It peaked at 9.73m, while a further 530k (2.4%) caught the programme on ITV+1.

Over on BBC One, ratings for The Voice UK at 8.05pm grew for the fourth consecutive week, scoring a new season high of 7.97 million (35.5%). It peaked at 8.9 million.

Later on ITV, gameshow The Cube had 3.32m (15%) at 8.15pm and The Jonathan Ross Show took 2.72m (13.4%) an hour later.

Back on BBC One, new Doctor Who episode 'Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS' attracted 4.89m (25.2%) viewers from 6.30pm, a slight drop from last week.

BBC Two aired World Championship Snooker for an hour from 7pm, picking up 920k (4.4%). Documentary Young Margaret: Love, Life and Letters also interested 920k (4.5%) at 9pm.

Channel 4 showed movie Season of the Witch at 9pm, bringing in 1.21m viewers (6%). Earlier, Sarah Beeny's Selling Houses and Grand Designs attracted 530k (2.6%) and 850k (3.8%) respectively in the two hours from 7pm.

Elsewhere, Channel 5 aired a double bill of NCIS, scoring 567k (2.6%) and 788k (3.5%) respectively from 7.30pm. Law and Order: Criminal Intent grabbed 705k (3.4%) at 10.15pm.

Lewis was the highest rated show on the multichannels, pulling in 916k (4.7%) on ITV3 at 9pm.
